This is the Painting of an MD-11 in Federal Express livery landing at the General Edward Lawrence Logan International Airport, (KBOS) just after a light dusting of snow on the runway. I chose the snow to show how an engine uses the direction of reverse flow of thrust to help assist it in slowing down and to see visually looks like

Peter Ring is a highly acclaimed artist who specializes in creating "photo-realistic" paintings of commercial and military aircraft. Using primarily acrylics, he also dabbles in pencil drawings. Peter is deeply passionate about aviation and uses his art to convey its excitement and showcase airplanes up close and from the best angles.
