I was commissioned to do this painting of a WW II book titled "Jet Planes of the Third Reich, Secret Projects Vol 2", I was to be a winged bomber much like the modern B-2 Spirit of today, the war ended before it could be produced.
Peter Ring is a highly acclaimed artist who specializes in creating "photo-realistic" paintings of commercial and military aircraft. Using primarily acrylics, he also dabbles in pencil drawings. Peter is deeply passionate about aviation and uses his art to convey its excitement and showcase airplanes up close and from the best angles.
