This is a commissioned painting for a client that wanted to start up an airline using an Airbus 340-300 called the American dream in lower case font. He wants this type of aircraft for its range at the time. He was planning international flights from Boston, MA. The last I heard about this original painting was it ended up in Paris somewhere.
Peter Ring is a highly acclaimed artist who specializes in creating "photo-realistic" paintings of commercial and military aircraft. Using primarily acrylics, he also dabbles in pencil drawings.
